Jetour Outpaces Major Brands with Record SUV Launch in Nigeria

Jetour has transformed Africa’s automotive landscape by launching over seven SUV models in Nigeria within three years, the fastest expansion by a new entrant. This rapid growth has resonated with Nigerian drivers and driven strong sales in South Africa, surpassing several luxury brands.

Starting with the X70, X70 Plus, Dashing, and X90 Plus, Jetour expanded its lineup to include the X50, X70 Hybrid, T2, and T2 Hybrid, catering to urban and rugged driving needs. In South Africa, since its September 2024 launch, Jetour sold 568 units initially, reached 2,000 units by January 2025, and consistently outperformed Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Jaguar Land Rover, Mazda, Mitsubishi, and Volvo in monthly sales.

Jetour’s success stems from affordable pricing, premium features, and a diverse model range. The brand earned the Fastest-Growing Auto Brand award at the 2024 Nigerian Auto Journalists Association Awards.

To strengthen its Nigerian presence, Jetour opened a flagship showroom in Lekki, Lagos, managed by NewEra Autovehicle Services, offering sales, genuine parts, and technical support.
