The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has been honoured as the “State Traffic Management Agency of the Year” at the 2025 Nigeria Transport and Logistics Leadership Awards, held in Abuja.

The award was presented at the Nigeria Transport and Logistics Leadership Summit and Awards, an event that brought together industry regulators, transport professionals, and policymakers. LASTMA won after a nationwide nomination and voting process that highlighted its performance in traffic governance, road safety enforcement, and maintaining efficient transport in Lagos State.

Mr. Jubril Oshodi, LASTMA’s Director of Logistics and Transport, accepted the award on behalf of General Manager Mr. Olalekan Bakare-Oki. He thanked the organisers, the public, and the Lagos State Government for their support.

In his remarks, Bakare-Oki described the award not only as an honour but also a renewed call to continue delivering high standards of professionalism, innovation, and safety.
