Delta Air Lines has officially launched a new non-stop service between Atlanta (ATL) and Marrakech (RAK), Morocco, marking a significant expansion of its African network.

The route commenced on 25 October 2025, and will operate three times weekly using a Boeing 767-400ER aircraft. Passengers will be offered a full premium experience across cabins including Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin.

Delta’s Senior Vice President of Network Planning, Paul Baldoni, described the route as “strengthening our presence in Africa … offering more opportunities for customers to enjoy our award-winning service.”

The new service positions Marrakech as one of Delta’s growing listings in Africa and enhances connectivity from the U.S. via its Atlanta hub, which links to over 125 U.S. cities.

Airline analysts say the expansion underscores Delta’s strategic push into Africa’s tourism and diaspora markets and reinforces its global hub role at Atlanta.
