Air Peace Limited has enhanced its operational capacity with the acquisition of a third Embraer 190 aircraft, a strategic move to manage increased passenger demand during the festive season and beyond.

The new Embraer 190-100 Advanced Range (AR) aircraft, bearing registration 5N-CFM, touched down at Lagos’s Murtala Muhammed International Airport on Tuesday, December 16, at 3:13 p.m. This delivery accelerates the airline’s ongoing fleet modernization and expansion program.

Configured for 99 passengers, the aircraft features 11 Business Class and 88 Economy Class seats. Its cabin is designed for enhanced passenger comfort, offering a 1-2 layout in Business Class for greater privacy and a 2-2 arrangement in Economy, which eliminates middle seats. Additional amenities include increased legroom, in-seat power outlets, and a quiet cabin environment.

The arrival of this aircraft, the third Embraer 190 added within five months, underscores Air Peace’s preparedness for Nigeria’s peak travel period. The model is also recognized for its fuel efficiency and lower carbon emissions, supporting more sustainable aviation practices.

In a statement, Air Peace Spokesperson Mr. Osifo-Whiskey Efe highlighted the strategic importance of the addition. “Welcoming this advanced aircraft aligns perfectly with our operational goals of easing air travel burdens and providing seamless connectivity across Nigeria, Africa, and beyond,” Efe said.

He confirmed the aircraft will be deployed to increase flight frequencies on key domestic and regional routes, improving schedule reliability and alleviating congestion on high-demand corridors during the holidays.

For travelers, this expansion means greater seat availability, improved flexibility, and a more dependable travel experience. It also reflects the airline’s strategy of utilizing optimally sized aircraft to serve both established and emerging routes efficiently.

With this latest induction, Air Peace reinforces its position as a rapidly expanding carrier in West and Central Africa, demonstrating continued investment in fleet growth, capacity enhancement, and regional connectivity.
