The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Special Marshals in Ogun State have launched a comprehensive campaign combining health awareness and road safety enforcement to safeguard both motorists and personnel. The initiative commenced in Abeokuta with an educational session on kidney health delivered by Dr. Festus Adetonwa, who emphasized preventive care through regular exercise, balanced nutrition, and routine medical check-ups.

Following the health lecture, marshals conducted targeted enforcement operations along key corridors—Laderin Road, Asero, Ita-Oshin, and Oke-Ilewo, distributing informational flyers and ensuring adherence to traffic regulations.

State Coordinator Taiwo Balogun stated, “This initiative integrates wellness advocacy with our core safety objectives, promoting responsible driving and holistic public health.” The event received commendation from Senior Route Commander Halima Oluwadumiye, representing State Sector Commander Akinwunmi Fasakin, who urged marshals to prioritize their well-being while serving.

In a show of institutional support, the Lions Unit of Special Marshals donated a standing fan to the FRSC Ogun Command, underscoring the campaign’s emphasis on welfare. The effort reflects FRSC’s broader strategy to align community health education with traffic law enforcement across the state.
