Interswitch, Asaba Airport Deploy Automated Parking System

Interswitch has partnered with the Asaba Airport Company (AAC) to deploy an automated parking and access control system at the Asaba International Airport as part of efforts to improve operational efficiency and passenger experience.

The system, known as the Interswitch Parking Management Platform (PMP), introduces a fully automated parking solution designed to streamline vehicle movement and enhance traffic management within the airport environment.

According to the companies, the initiative comes amid rising passenger traffic and increased vehicular movement across Nigerian airports, which has heightened the need for smarter transport infrastructure and efficient traffic control systems.

Vice President, Transport Ecosystem at Interswitch, Nnenna Ajanwachuku, said the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to deploying technology that improves efficiency, transparency, and user experience across critical sectors.
