NCAA Accreditation Upholds Quality of NAF Air-Specialist Training Programmes — CAS

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA)’s recent accreditation of training courses for the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has been hailed by the Service’s Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, as a mark of quality and professionalism.

Addressing graduands at the NAF Air Traffic Services Training Centre (ATSTC) in Kaduna, the Air Chief said the accreditation ensures that NAF’s flight-dispatch, air-traffic control assistance and base-operations courses meet international aviation standards.

He added that the training, combined with rigorous regulatory oversight by NCAA, equips graduates to operate safely and effectively across both military and civilian aviation environments.

According to him, the courses including Standard Flight Dispatch Operations, Air Traffic Control Assistance, and Base Operations are critical to enhancing aircraft readiness, airspace safety and operational discipline in Nigeria’s skies.

NCAA’s role in accrediting training providers is in line with its mandate to enforce safety, licensing, and training standards under national and international civil-aviation regulations.
