Transporters for Tinubu Hails Gov. Uba Sani’s Appointment as Renewed Hope Ambassador, Deputy DG

Prince Dr. Segun Obayendo, National Coordinator of Transporters for Tinubu 2027, has congratulated Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State on his appointment as Renewed Hope Ambassador and Deputy Director-General for Party Outreach, Engagement and Mobilisation, describing the recognition as a well-deserved tribute to the governor’s exemplary leadership and organisational acumen.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu appointed Governor Sani to the dual roles earlier this week, citing the Kaduna State governor’s leadership qualities and capacity to drive grassroots engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections . According to a State House statement signed by Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the appointment takes immediate effect .

In a congratulatory message issued in Abuja, Prince Obayendo, who also serves as President of the Chartered Institute of Transport Administration of Nigeria (CIoTA), praised Governor Sani’s track record of inclusive governance and developmental strides in Kaduna State .

“This appointment is a fitting recognition of His Excellency’s dedication to service and his proven ability to mobilise people toward collective progress. Governor Uba Sani has demonstrated that leadership is about building bridges and creating opportunities for all, and we are confident he will bring this same energy to his new national assignment,” Obayendo stated.

The Transporters for Tinubu 2027 National Coordinator noted that the governor’s role as Deputy Director-General would significantly strengthen the ruling party’s outreach and engagement architecture, particularly at the grassroots level where mobilisation efforts are most critical.

“Governor Sani understands the pulse of the people. His appointment signals the administration’s commitment to building an inclusive political structure that leaves no one behind. We in the transport community are particularly encouraged because we know he values the contributions of transporters to the nation’s economy,” Obayendo added.

Governor Sani’s responsibilities will include working in close collaboration with the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassador programme and the APC National Chairman to ensure harmony, inclusiveness, and strategic coordination across all levels of the party’s mobilisation framework .

In his appointment letter, President Tinubu emphasised the strategic importance of the role ahead of the 2027 elections: “The overall objective of your appointment is to ensure that the entire citizenry is aware of, understands, and ultimately supports our party and its candidates at all levels for broad national acceptance. Preparation is critical and essential to achieving this outcome, and your leadership will be central to guiding this process effectively and strategically” .

Prince Obayendo further underscored the transport sector’s stake in the renewed hope agenda, noting that transporters across the country remain committed to supporting leaders who prioritise infrastructure development and sectoral reforms.
